Fall Travels – Tougas Family Farm

This past fall (2016, it’s been a while!) I went apple picking with some family friends at Tougas Family Farm here in Massachusetts. It was the first time I had ever gone apple picking and it was a wonderful experience. I look forward to making this some sort of family tradition now, and making delicious apple pies afterwards with allll the apples I pick. Add some ice cream to the apple pie and I’m all set. YUM.

The apple orchard had neatly planted rows of apple trees with tons of different types. You walk around and fill your bag with apples of your choosing, too fun!

They also had a shop set up where they sold apple cider and freshly baked cinnamon spiced donuts. The donuts were soooo good, they melted in your mouth the moment you took a bite. Next to the shop was a petting zoo area where children watched sheep run around and a cheeky llama eat.
